Out in the countryside

My dear friend Susan has been visiting the UK from California for the last month. Sadly she and her two children are currently on a flight back to the USA.

Whilst she was here, we went out into the local countryside armed with all my flash equipment. We went to the Oil Seed Rape field I visited earlier in the year, it is now in seed and looks great. We also visited the red poppy field, a barley field and a white poppy field. I used a mix of big battery flash and normal speedlights.

When we were in the white poppy field, we experienced the most amazing sunset - we were so lucky!

Poppies galore....

I spent yesterday afternoon photographing a 3yr old girl in poppies. We drove around and found the most amazing field full of red poppies and then a field with white poppies. I have had a play around with some of the colours.
